How long have you been showing horses? I showed local open shows as a kid. As a young adult showed Australian Shepherds for about 15 years and then got back into horse showing 9 years ago.

How long have you been in Missouri? Lifetime

What is your favorite horse show? American Royal

What is your favorite event to show in? Trail

What is your favorite class to watch? Trail

Who is your all-time favorite horse? And why? My buckskin mare, Lady K that I showed as a kid.  She was very intelligent and I didn't appreciate her personality back then!

If you are not at a horse show, what would we find you doing? Hanging out at home.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you? I was raised by my Dad, Walt Carey who raised and showed American Saddlebreds.

One piece of advice you would like to share with exhibitors who are just getting started? It can be intimidating, but I think if you ask, most everybody is willing to help you out.
