How long have you been showing horses? I started when I was 50

How long have you been in Missouri? All my life

What is your favorite horse show? I enjoy all of them

What is your favorite event to show in? Trail

What is your favorite class to watch? Trail

Who is your all-time favorite horse? And why?  Snap Krackle Pop, because she is a great horse and I’m blessed to own her.

If you are not at a horse show, what would we find you doing? You would find me watching my grandchildren, going to ride, traveling, and visiting AZ.

Do you have another job…besides taking care of your horses? I am retired from our family business.

Favorite restaurant? Any kind of seafood

Favorite fun class at a horse show? Bridle-less classes

Favorite movie? Most any with Tom Hanks

What is your dream vacation? Hawaii

Tell us something most people don’t know about you?  I’ve been on 9 African hunting Safaris with my husband and family and friends.

One piece of advice you would like to share with exhibitors who are just getting started? Get all the advice you can before you make a purchase and work with a trainer as much as you can afford, it will pay off in the long run. Sometimes you may have to try several horses before you find the one that is right for you.
