Where are you from: Advance MO

How long have you been showing horses? Entire Life

How long have you been in Missouri? Most of life minus 5 years in Oklahoma. 

What is your favorite horse show? It was once called Boystown and was at Midway in Columbia. Now it is the Gateway Classic

What is your favorite event to show in? Barrel Racing

What is your favorite class to watch? Ha ha… Barrel Racing but now that I have switched the ends of the arena … I like Horsemanship. 

Who is your all-time favorite horse? And why? I am a little biased but that would be my Horse Eight Alarm. He won the Nation in Senior Barrels and truly loved his job. The most honest horse to run and he just wanted to go do his job and he did it very well. 

If you are not at a horse show, what would we find you doing? My husband has exotic animals. Most likely I would be doing something with him and them. 

Do you have another job…besides taking care of your horses? I am a customer service representative,for Soft Ride Boots

Favorite food? All of it

Favorite restaurant? Donatelli’s 

Favorite fun class at a horse show? Every class,  I just go have fun because if you’re not having fun why do it? So just enjoy that fact being able to show and enjoy riding. 

Favorite movie? Tombstone

Favorite quote? “Work smarter not harder!”

What is your dream vacation? The beach

Tell us something most people don’t know about you? I really enjoy writing papers, articles, and the like. 

One piece of advice you would like to share with exhibitors who are just getting started? Do not be afraid to ask questions. Do not be afraid to ask for help.
