What grade are you in? 7th
Tell us about your family. I have two brothers and I live with my parents.
Do your parents ride or show too? My dad used to ride mules when he was younger.
Do you have any siblings? Do they like to ride/show? 2 brothers, they don’t like to show or ride.
How long have you been showing horses? 1 year.
What is your favorite horse show? St Louis or Tulsa
How did you get hooked on horses? My dad grew up with horses and mules, one day he asked if I wanted to take lessons so now, I show.
What is it about horses that makes you want to work with them and compete? I am very competitive, when I get on a horse, I feel like I can do anything.
What horse(s) and event(s) are you currently showing? I am currently showing my trainers horse Winnie (Zipped Royally), in trail, showmanship, horsemanship, and western pleasure.
What are your goals? My goal is to get first place in every event at least once.
Who do you look up to in the industry? I look up to the trainers because they have to do a lot of things to get their barn and horses ready to show. I also look up to the kids, like 4-10 because it takes a lot of hard work at that age, so it has to be hard for them.
Do you have any superstitions when you show? No
What is your horse's favorite treat? Her food
Do you have any funny stories about your horse? My horse Petey pulled my aunt Kylies keys from her pocket and tried to eat them.
What is your favorite chore? Watering the horses.
What is your least favorite chore? Cleaning stalls.
If you are not at a horse show, what would we find you doing? Riding horses or hanging out with my friends.
What is your favorite thing about showing? Hanging out with my horseshow friends that I don’t get to see.
What is your favorite hobby besides showing horses? Making my mom go crazy.
What is your favorite food? Fried Pickles.
What is your favorite restaurant? Red Lobster.
What is your favorite movie? Walk, Ride, Rodeo.
What is your dream vacation? Going to the Bahamas.
What are you terrible at but love to do anyway? Western Pleasure
