Where are you from: Originally from Kalamazoo, MI.

How long have you been showing horses? I have shown 4-H/open shows for ~20 years. This was my first year showing AQHA. 

How long have you been in Missouri? 8 years

What is your favorite horse show? American Royal 

What is your favorite event to show in? Hunt Seat Equitation 

What is your favorite class to watch? Senior Trail

Do you have any superstitions when you show? I have a pair of "lucky socks" I always wear on my big show day.

Who is your all-time favorite horse? I have always loved Zips Chocolate Chip. 

If you are not at a horse show, what would we find you doing? Working, riding, golfing or hanging out with friends 

Do you have another job…besides taking care of your horses? I am a Medical Director working in drug development 

What is your favorite thing about MQHA? I love the people!!

Favorite hobby besides showing horses? Golfing

Favorite food? Cookies

Favorite restaurant? Murry's in Columbia 

Favorite movie? Fast and Furious series

Favorite quote? "Well behaved women rarely make history" 

What is your dream vacation? I would love to hike along the Alps. 

What is one thing on your bucket list? Qualify for the World Show

Tell us something most people don’t know about you? I have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science 

One piece of advice you would like to share with exhibitors who are just getting started? Finding a trainer that you work well with was huge for me. Kendra Weis and Caitlin Schneider (Twin Acres) helped me and my horse improve so much in a short time. They both coach me in a way I understand. Looking back at my first year with MQHA, I can't believe how far Indy and I have come with their help.
