AQHYA World Show 2019: Team Missouri certainly did "Rise to the Challenge"!

The Missouri Quarter Horse Youth Association (MQHYA) has been busy this summer! 

In July, thirteen youth members along with six adult chaperones attended the AQHYA Youth Excellence Seminar (Y.E.S.) in Amarillo, Texas. These members had a great time getting to know other youth from across the country, while learning more about our equine industry and gaining valuable leadership skills. MQHYA Immediate Past President, Justin Eddy was elected as the First Vice President of AQHYA. 

In August, we headed to Oklahoma City for the AQHA Youth World Championship Show. This year’s show was the largest in AQHA history. Team Missouri proudly sent 23 exhibitors, showing 37 horses for a total of 111 total entries! The theme this year was, “Rise to the Challenge”. We had a very successful week in Oklahoma City. Below are our individual Top 15 Team Missouri finishes from the AQHYA Youth World Championship Show:
